FC Copenhagen facing Leicester City
FC Copenhagen might be one of this years biggest surprises in the Champions League, as the team from Denmark are currently second in the group, and can with a win tonight against the English champions Leicester City, be almost sure on a place in the next round of the tournament.
It will however not be easy at all. Leicester City are a strong side, and have found some of their old form from last season in the recent games. In the match two weeks ago in England, Copenhagen did dominate the match, and came very close towards the end of the match to secure the one point, but Leicester won 1-0 in the end.
Leicester City are with out their main man at the moment Slimani tonight, and that will be a weakening of the team, but i think this match will be very close.
Fredeico Santander and Andreas Cornelius from FC Copenhagen are two strikers in great form at the moment, and as they showed in the first match against Leicester, they can match the Leicester defense physically. At the moment, the Danish team is cruising towards the title in Denmark, latest with a 0-3 wi against FC Midtjylland, one of the closest rivals in the Danish Superliga.
FC Copenhagen will do everything in their powers to win this match, as it will put a thick line under just how grat they are this season. The two strikers in form at the moment Santander and Cornelius are also looking to show them self of at the biggest scene.
Frederico Santander have bene linked with a move to the English Premier League, where Sunderland and Everton have been mentioned as clubs very keen on signing the big striker, a win against Leicester and goals from the striker might result in a dream contract for him.
Leicester City seems to be more comfortable when the opponent is having the ball, and that is a good thing for them since FC Copenhagen will try to keep possession at every chance they get. The match tonight will be ver close, but I think the Danish champions might be able to deliver the surprise tonight, they might even win with more than two goals.
