Gary Cahill: We should not get carried away

Chelsea recently beat Manchester United 4-0, but Gary Cahill warns the his team-mates not to get carried away. He says they are still learning the new system.

Chelsea won all three matches without any goals being scored against them. Most recently, they beat Manchester United 4-0. Gary Cahill, however, warns his team-mates not to get carried away considering they are only learning the system.

-We cannot get carried away by what happened against Manchester United. We are still learning the new system, Gary Cahill said according to Standard Sport.

-At the moment, we are difficult to play against. We have played well from behind and if we are pressuring high on the pitch, our wingers are able to give the opponents problems, he continued.

Gary Cahill looks at Chelsea as a team that is among the contenders for the Premier League title, this season.

-Already now, you can tell that there will not be a single team that runs away from the rest. It will be a close call, and there will be a lot of changes at the top of the league, Gary Cahill said.

Chelsea is currently in fourth place of the Premier League table with 19 points in nine matches, just below Liverpool in third place with 20 points in nine matches and just above Tottenham in fifth place also with 19 points in nine matches. Everton is currently in sixth place with 15 points in nine matches, while Manchester United is in seventh place with 14 points in nine matches.

Manchester City remains at the top of the Premier League table with 20 points in nine matches, while Arsenal in second place also has 20 points in nine matches, but a lower goal-score.

Hull City, Swansea and Sunderland are currently all below the relegation line, while promoted Middlesbrough currently is just above the relegation line with seven points in nine matches.
