Karl-Heinz Rummenigge criticises major clubs for retrieving talents as young as ten years old
Bayern Munich Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge criciticses major clubs for retrieving talents as young as ten and 11 years old.
In recent years, major football clubs have retrieved younger and younger talents. Bayern Munich Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge criticizes that tendency.
-We do not wish to retrieve 10-year-olds and 11-year-olds to Munich like the English do, which almost qualifies as kidnapping, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said according to dpa.
-I have moral objections against this. I feel that 14 years old is a good age to bring youth players to Bayern, Rummenigge said.
Next year, Bayern Munich will open a youth academy.
