Neither of the teams managed to score in the first half and thus the teams went to halftime with a 0-0 draw.
About 20 minutes into the second half, Romelu Lukaku sent the ball into goal and Everton in the lead with 0-1.
Eight minutes later, Nolito sent the ball into goal at the other end of the pitch and thus secured Manchester City a 1-1 draw.
Manchester City is currently in first place of Premier League with 19 points in eight matches, closely followed by Arsenal.
