Roger Schmidt receives two days quarantine
During the weekend’s match between Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen manager Roger Schmidt was sent off the pitch for insulting Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann. The German football federation, DFB has also given the manager two days quarantine for the incident.
Bayer Leverkusen lost 0-3 at home, this weekend, to Hoffenheim. During the match, Bayer Leverkusen manager Roger Schmidt insulted Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann so badly that he was sent off the pitch.
The German football federation has decided to give Roger Schmidt two days quarantine, meaning he will not be allowed on the bench for the next two matches. Bayer Leverkusen will thus has to do without their manager against Sportfreude Lotte in the DFB Cup and against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
