Southampton beat Inter 2-1 at home while Sparta Prague beat Hapoel Beer Sheva 2-0.
Thursday evening, Southampton played Inter in the fourth round of Europa League. About half an hour into the first half, Mauro Icardi sent the ball into goal and Inter in the lead with 0-1, which was also the score at halftime.
About 20 minutes into the second half, Virgil van Dijk sent the ball into goal and settled the score to 1-1. But five minutes later unfortunate Yuto Nagatomo scored an own-goal securing Southampton a 2-1 victory.
Elsewhere Sparta Prague played Hapoel Beer Sheva. Ben Bitton scored an own-goal about 20 minutes into the first half, while David Lafata sent the ball into goal a quarter of an hour later, securing Sparta Prague a 2-0 victory.
With tonight’s results, Sparta Prague is currently in first place, while Southampton is in second. Inter is currently at the bottom with just three points in four matches.
